Raushan meets PM at Ganabhaban

Opposition leader and Chief Patron of Jatiya Party Raushan Ershad paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday (12 December).

She met the premier at the latter's official residence Ganabhaban in the afternoon.

"During the meeting, a discussion on the next general election was held between the two leaders," PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon said while briefing reporters after the meeting.

The PM reiterated her commitment that the 12th parliamentary election will be free and fair and the country’s people will spontaneously take part in the election by exercising their voting rights, he said.
