Students have blockaded roads at Banani in the capital demanding half pass.
Agitating students of Banani Bidyaniketon blocked the road in front of Banani post office around 12pm Tuesday.
The blockade led to long traffic gridlock in the area.
Students were chanting slogans with placards writing ‘we want half passes’, ‘no dillydally on half fare’.
Teachers of the school along with members of the law enforcing agencies urged the student to lift the blockade. However, the protesters vowed to continue the blockade until their demands are met.
