The Israeli military claimed that there were people from Hamas and Islamic Jihad in that mosque. Several of them were killed in the attack. They said the mosque was used as a command center by Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7. Since then, more than 4,100 Palestinians have died in Israel's attacks on Palestine. Thousands of people were injured. Israel is attacking the besieged Gaza indiscriminately. Hospitals, schools and shelters are also not spared from the attacks.
On the other hand, about 1,400 people have been killed in Israel by Hamas attacks. In addition, Hamas has taken more than two hundred hostages from Israel. Among them are citizens of various countries including the United States.
Meanwhile, the lack of fuel and essential supplies has created a severe crisis across Gaza. Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP) says hundreds of children are at risk of death as Gaza hospitals run out of fuel supplies.
