After four days, the price of gold has been reduced in the country's market. The price of one bar (11.664 grams) of good quality gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167. In this, the price of a good quality gold bar is 97 thousand 44 taka.
Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said that the new price will be effective from Thursday (October 5).
This price has been reduced due to the fall in the price of acid gold (ripe gold) in the local market.
Earlier, on September 30, Bajus announced a reduction of Tk 1,749 on 22 carat gold, which was effective from the following day, Sunday. Since then, one load of gold of this quality was selling for 98 thousand 211 taka.
Bajus announced this new price reduction in view of the reduction in the price of acid gold (seasoned gold) in the local market.
