Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has decided the new price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). At the consumer level, the price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Tk 79 to Tk 1,363 from Tk 1,284 earlier.

The new prices were announced at a press conference held at the TCB building on Monday (October 2). The new price will be effective from evening.

According to the announcement, the price of private LPG at retail points has been adjusted by 61 paisa per kg including musk at the consumer level. Apart from this, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid state in reticulated system has been adjusted by 109 taka 79 paisa per kg including musk. Apart from this, at the consumer level, the price of autogas has been adjusted to 62 taka 54 paisa per liter including Musak.

Earlier, on September 3, the price of a 12 kg cylinder at the consumer level was increased by Tk 144 to Tk 1,284 from Tk 1,140 earlier.

Apart from this, 15 kg cylinder is 1 thousand 605 taka, 16 kg is 1 thousand 712 taka, 18 kg is 1 thousand 926 taka, 20 kg is 2 thousand 140 taka, 22 kg is 2 thousand 355 taka, 25 kg is 2 thousand 675 taka, 30 kg is 3 thousand 210 taka. Rs, 33 kg Rs 3,531, 35 kg Rs 3,734 and 45 kg Rs 4,815.

Earlier, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was hiked by Rs 141 to Rs 1,140 in August from Rs 999 in July.
